The charity programme “A Tet of sharing — a warm spring”, organised by Green Lien Chieu, was completed yesterday. Tet gifts were handed directly to households in difficulty in the area, as a wish for a more peaceful and fuller new year.
Each gift is small in material terms, but it carries the care and goodwill of everyone at Green Lien Chieu, in the hope of adding a little warmth so that families can enter Tet more lightly, with fewer of the day-to-day worries.
The programme is not only an annual act of charity; it is also an occasion for the company to look again at the values Green Lien Chieu holds to — business tied to social responsibility, and sustainable development alongside the local community.
